Location Details:

Loch Ness is perhaps one of the most famous stretches of water in the United Kingdom, being the largest freshwater loch, by volume. Surrounded by beauty and mystery, Loch Ness and the wider area attracts global visitors who not only love the fascinating history and photographic opportunities but the wealth of outdoor activity available on its shores.
Famed for sightings of the alleged ‘Nessie’, the area is popular with walkers, climbers, cyclists and golfers, due to the challenging landscape and breath-taking scenery. The colourful history of the Highlands is evident throughout the area, not least of all at Urquhart Castle; the ruin of a medieval fortress, on the banks of the loch has witnessed some of the most dramatic episodes in Scottish history.
