Let battle Commence!

This September our very own Tough Mudder, Laura Beaumont, will be taking in the extreme 12 mile obstacle course to raise money and awareness for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

Laura, who is responsible for the marketing at AB Sundecks will be facing challenges designed to test strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie in order to raise money for this fantastic cause.

Late last year Laura was diagnosed and treated for cervical cancer with the support of Jo’s Trust and all the medical team at the Alexandra Hospital. Since recovering she has pledged her support for the charity and intends to raise awareness of the disease through a series of fund-raisers starting with Tough Mudder North West.

‘Tough Mudder is more than an event; it’s about pushing yourself to the limits and helping others to do the same. It’s not a race, it’s a challenge.’

‘We all face challenges in life that change our world forever but its what we do with these challenges that shape who we are. There is always the greater good in everything, sometimes beyond what we can see, but never out of reach.’
