AB SUNDECKS LTD ACHIEVES ISO 9001:2008 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION, DEMONSTRATING ITS UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

AB Sundecks Ltd, an industry pioneer and leader in the manufacture and installation of PVC decking systems, today announced it had received ISO 9001:2008 certification for the quality management of constructing and installing bespoke PVC decking. AB Sundecks is the first and only major decking company operating within the holiday home industry in the UK to have received this certification.
ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation, is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO international standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. ISO has over 19,500 international standards covering almost all aspects of technology and business. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation:
• Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
• Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Certification to ISO 9001 requires an accredited third party auditing organisation to thoroughly review the Company’s internal quality management system processes, to ensure that they are capable of consistently delivering a service that meets customers’ needs and expectations.
