With endless combinations which handrail would you choose?

Height is the issue when it comes to choosing to have rails or no rails around your deck. Garden decking and patio decking, as a rule, do not need a hand rail but in general, holiday homes and lodges definitely do. But choosing the right combination can be perplexing so here are a few things to consider;

If you’ve got the view you’re first choice should be curtain wall glass, this will give you an uninterrupted view of the landscape. However, if you are high up in the elements you might want to consider glass with steel or PVC posts for added peace of mind when the winds come whipping through. We recommend pickets for those decks with small children or pets, they are the easiest to keep clean and are very tactile.

All of the components are completely recyclable. They are hard wearing, waterproof and very low maintenance. They are Class 1 Y fire rated which means they are a self-extinguishing product and as they are constructed with steel reinforcements they will never be the conductor of a fire.
