National Croissant Day isn't just about the Croissants!

Since around 2006, National Croissant Day has been celebrated on January 30th every year, to appreciate the crescent-shaped pastry that is enjoyed around the world; although croissants are recognised to be a French specialty, they were actually created in Vienna by an Austrian military officer, who opened a bakery in Paris and introduced the French to Viennese baking techniques.

At AB Sundecks, while we are enjoying the buttery, flaky croissant delicacy, it got us thinking about some of our own projects overseas. Here are just a handful of images of the stunning work we have installed over in France!

Featuring a wraparound deck in our AB exclusive green balustrades with our weather boards with two sets of steps, one leading to the front area of the deck and the other to the side door, separated from the rest of the deck by a lockable gate, accessorised by our globe post lights. We also installed this exquisite wraparound deck with our white and cream balustrades and our cream deck boards, all from our AB exclusive range; also accessorised with our globe post lights and a gorgeous canopy for the perfect al fresco dining area.
